Weddings and Fireworks
One of the perks of being a DJ is getting to work in a lot of venues in Minnesota. After working a wedding at the Green Acres Barn it jumped to the top of our list of preferred venues, which means we just had to blog about it.
With our offices and wedding DJs covering the entire state, and the number of events we work each year, we’ve worked with hundreds of places, so you can take our word for it… this place is worth checking out, especially if you want to have a unique barn wedding experience.
Just outside the Twin Cities metro, south of highway 212, Green Acres Barn and Event Center is right across Pioneer Trail from Flying Cloud Airport. It backs up against Staring Lake, right around the corner from Hennepin Technical College.
It’s a historic barn that has been updated and has everything you expect from a nice venue, and with it’s many old chandeliers hanging from the barn ceiling, it will be the perfect backdrop for those rustic chic wedding photos that you want to have.
As the area’s largest, most award winning wedding DJ service, we’ve seen our fair share of different venues and places to have events all over Minnesota. So we know what we’re talking about, and this one is in the top percentage of barn venues!
Green Acres Event Center has become one of our favorite venues in Eden Prairie and we are excited to be able to work there again.
Our DJ Aaron was seriously phenomenal! He far exceeded any expectations I had for what any DJ could do for our wedding. He was SOOO interactive with our guests, performed fun games our guests participated in, and really listened to our thoughts and ideas to make our day accostom to what my husband and I envisioned. He asked us what attire he should wear, called us to verify what versions of songs we wanted (for the ceremony) and made me feel at ease with his planning, He is amazing and I would reccommend him to anyone on any occasion!
A Holiday Celebration
When creating a fun and memorable wedding reception, there are so many things to consider. And in our experience performing all over Minnesota, we’ve celebrated with thousands of couples. The key to having a great Eden Prairie wedding is to relax and have fun.

Matt & Alicia’s wedding in particular though, was definitely unique.
With the ceremony in the upstairs of the Green Acres Barn, everything went smoothly with our ceremony system & microphones, and everyone could hear the Justice of the Peace who officiated.
Guests spent their cocktail hour downstairs while staff flipped the upstairs room of the barn, and we really got the crowd excited for the grand march before dinner.
The dance was fun with games and line dances, and everyone having a good time, and we wrapped up a little early so everyone could watch the 4th of July Fireworks outside.
If you want to have a unique wedding experience, consider getting married on a holiday like the 4th of July!
We could keep going on about Matt & Alicia’s wedding celebration at the Green Acres Barn in Eden Prairie, MN. But rest assured that they were thoroughly pleased with our services, even saying that the DJ services far exceeded the price they paid.
